About the event
The Hardcore Reset Guidelines are important, but simple. Simple doesn't mean it will feel easy! But you can do hard things.
Join our FB communityHardcore Health Tribe by signing up here. It is a secrte group I will invite you to join.Â
1. Be Alcohol Free! Sober October is a traditional time of detoxing, giving your body a break from processing alcolol-toxins. This one feels mentally MUCH harder than any other on the list if you are a casual drinker, a wine-down every night person, and that is a big sign that you need this step the most. Reflect on this.
2. Be Sugar Free! Yes, you absolutely CAN do this through Halloween. It is the perfect time to reassess the ways you relate to and use sugar. All fruit based sugar is fine! No added sugars like white, coconut, maple, honey. Ouch, tough, but good tough. You CAN do this.
3. Eat a Rainbow Daily! This is crucial for cellular, endocrine, and muscular functioning. We need a wide variety of micro nutrients daily. 2 colors from the rainbow every single meal, even breakfast! Hitting a spectrum of colors for the day. Red, Orange, Yellow, shades of Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, White, Black, Brown.Â
4. All meals are Macro Balanced! Every time you eat this month is a meal or mini-meal, meaning it contains a balanced amount of each macronutrient. That looks like approx: 15-30 g protein, 8-15 g fats, and 15-50 g carbs. The lower the protein, the lower the fats and carbs. Ex: Pair 15 P, 8 F, 20 C. This isnt abput "perfect" meals, it is about progress toward balanced meals. Do your best.
5. Hit that Excersice! Every day is too much if you are bringing some intensity to the table (and you should be). Walk every day, Workout every other day.
6. Water is Blue Gold: drink a lot of it every day and see big benefits. drink 75% of body weight in oz. water, or 3 liters minimum.
7. Sleep is King: Make this happen for 7 hours at least. Your body does actually need this to thrive.
8. Learn something HARDCORE: there is nothing as fun as attacking a new phyiscal skill! Pick something you do not know how to do or do not do well, pullups, pushups, handstands, cossack squats, rope climbs, barbell deadlift.Â
That's all there is to it! Not restrictive! A gentle habit reset that will help you focus and find your groove, create your own motivation and see progress quickly. Anyone can join us in this challenge FREE, so share with family, friends, colleagues and get your ass in gear this fall :)
Your Body will thank you.
Love, Amber
